Strangelove

Growing up one of my reliefs from the banality of the suburbs was to tune into 120 Minutes on Sunday nights. Here I was turned onto The Cure, The Smiths and Depeche Mode.

Depeche Mode would always inspire me with the way they would softly transgress social norms. Using the song "Strangelove" I begin imagining a "cat of nine tails" to form the words of a intertwining and complex love.
